Fun at the Park!

Its warming up quick around here and we have to get our fun at the park in before we are burned alive!!!

Its Official!!

After almost 3 years, our battle with the bank for our house, has finally ended. we spent nearly 2 of those years trying make it work and going through every program they had to offer only to have it end each time worse then it started. We finally gave in, and tried to short sale it. After 8 months, 5 offers and the bank counter offering way above the market, we have said enough. You win. The house sold at auction on friday and it sold for less then the last 2 offers. It was not the outcome we had hoped for and it will eventually bring more issue to deal with, but its done. and that is the best part of all. :) Steve met with the 'company' that bought it and asked for only one thing. His silly blood orange tree from the back yard. The darn thing after almost 4 years has not really gown and produced only 2 unedible oranges, but for some reason, it meant a lot to Steve and so the man took one look at the shrub of a tree and said "sure, take it." Steve is happy and we have some green in our dirt back yard. :) No matter how you look at it, Life really is a blessing.

Happy Birthday Sweetheart

On March 17th, St Patrick's Day, It was Steve's Birthday. He has a tradition of taking his birthday off, and the kids were on Spring Break so we had a whole Steve Day! We started off with a free Birthday Breakfast for the birthday Boy at IHOP then off to Sams Club for a 'special treat" then we brought Jo and Uncle Mikey home for their Naps, ;) and headed off to Howie's Game Shack! I wish I had Pictures of the events but I just kept forgetting to take them. Steve and all the kids play WOW. its an online strategic game with characters and all. Well he wanted to be able to have enough computers to play with all of the family all at once! 3 hours later, it was time for lunch so off to Red Robin for his Free Birthday Burger (and Stevie's too!) gotta love a cheap lunch! and then to Baskin Robbin's for his free Ice Cream Cone. ( Can you see a pattern here?) Steve loves his freebies!! On Friday we were off to Spring Training at the Cubs! Steve got free tickets from work and it was a blast!! Saturday was The most exciting, Ravioli Day!! Its Special family recipe from Steve's Grandma Roberts. His family has been making them from scratch as a special occasion since he can remember. This time we gathered friends and family and we shared this special treat with them. Steve was in Heaven!! a 3 day Hulapalooza celebration for his Birthday!!! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!! I sure do love you so very much..

Stevie. Perfect angel baby. You have always made me laugh and and smile. You are so funny and smart! I love how soft and sweet you are to your baby sister and help her to feel so loved. You are so very brave and strong and tenderhearted, all rolled up into one. Those are amazing traits to have in this world sometimes. Stevie, You know your story. When you were still in my tummy, the doctors said there was something terribly wrong and we must end the pregnancy. We had a blessing, a very special blessing, that told Mommy and Daddy that you were a boy who was very special. You are here for a very important reason. There is nothing you cant do, if you want it you can do it. I thank my Father in Heaven for keeping you safe and sending you here to me. I am grateful that he has trusted me with such a sweet special spirit. I love you Mr. Stevie Taumaloto. You are Mr Lion Heart. strong and true. Happy Birthday my Angel Baby.
