It wasn't a tumor after all!
After a whole week of begging and pleading to my Doctors office everyday, they finally took pity (or just wanted me to shut up) and scheduled me for inducement on Saturday, Oct 25th in the morning!! We arrived at 7am, they started the drugs by 8am and she arrived at 4:36pm. It could have been even faster but they had to stop the drugs because I tested positive for StrepB and so they had to do those drugs first. No worries, she was for sure coming and I couldn't wait! 2 completely numb pushes and she was out! Don't recommend that strong of an Epidural, it was a little bizzar to see your husband burst into tears and have the Doc hold up your brand new baby girl and have no clue where she came from! But I got over it quick when we got to hold her :) She has straight light brown hair, and it appears she may keep her blue eyes. she weighed in at 7.6 and 20 inches long. That's our longest baby yet! Thank you for all your prayers and love sent our way, they were needed and appreciated.
She is beautiful and perfect and life is a blessing.

How lucky am I?
Monday, the last day of the fall break, Elizabeth and Stevie decided to make crabby Mommy breakfast in bed. (Lizzie has become quite the cook). For you not used to eating an eight year olds delights, thats a fried egg and toast! I felt so loved.
I Think its a Tumor!
Since today is Tuesday the 21st of October, I have decided that maybe I am not pregnant but that it is a dancing tumor instead. That is the only explanation I can come up with. It explains the irritability, the swelling of the abdomen and legs. and the fact that nothing has come out yet!! Ugh. Well if it is, at least I can still keep my tour scheldule right?

Thursday and Friday
As per requested, here is the inside scoop of the last two days of vacation... Thursday? Doctor visit for me, stripped membranes, still pregnant! Lunch out then a trip to walk around walmart, every asile twice! In the hopes there of... For some reason I didn't get pics of that fun adventure. Among other things we didn't need, I bought a fresh pinapple and ate half of it. A friend said it might help me go into Labor... Liar! So all I have of that is a mouth full of sores from too much pinapple and a top of a pinapple plant sitting in my window sill because my daughter wants to grow a pinapple tree. yeah, thats gonna happen.
Friday? I was wanting to just curl up in bed, but we did some chores then met our cousins for a movie and lunch. Then off to Costco for bulk items that we can't live with out and a cheap pizza dinner. okay its not so exciting but I'm sore and I'm tired so there!

I'm Addicted!!
To Family Fun Magazine and Website! Last weekend we made the tie-dye pumpkin shirts with our cousins Chloe, Aubrey, and Jolie. It wasn't as 'kid friendly' as the 4th of July shirts we made before, but they did come out cute enough. Lizzie shirt came out the cutest, but you can't see it in the picture and I didn't realize it until the end of a dirty day so no retakes oh well.
Steve isn't too happy with the orange grass in the backyard but I think it should fade. ;)

Day 2
So day two of vacation found me feeling a bit more perky! scary I know, so I called our cousins and we headed out to the dino musuem in mesa. We have a membership so that helped with the wallet and it never hurts that they may learn something too! Their favorite part is panning for 'gold'. I tried not to sit too much and take the stairs when ever possible, but alas I am here blogging instead of pushing. Thats just TMI :)
Pretty as a rose
My Hunny picked this from our garden on Saturday. okay, its not a real garden, just a bush next to the pit of veggies that he tried so hard to grow this year, but its ours! So sweet.
A whole week?!?
This week Fall Break begins.
One whole week of the kids being home all day long, everyday, all day long.
Don't get me wrong, I love them and I love being with them but the timing is a bit off. I'm still not sure if its my energy level/pains or my wallet that is screaming surrender the loudest. The idea of staying home all day everyday is just not an option. One of us is not going to make it out alive. So I must create activities, busy time so I end the week with the same amount of kids as I started with. (of course, if we add one, I'm off the hook!) Steve is off on Mondays so we started the week at mini golf(thank goodness for coupons!). On the way home all they wanted to know was what fun thing are we doing tomorrow? Tomorrow??? So starts my week. Wish me luck!!

Just Kidding.
After getting the kids all settled with Auntie A'Lisa, off to the hospital we went. The Contractions of course stopped...They sent us home around 1:30am. with baby still in side! So I am not the most pleasent person right now to say the least. I promise no more false alarms. the next post will be me with Baby in arms, or my tour scheldule as the very first permanently pregnant woman. Now I am off to go do some deep knee lunges or what ever those exercises are called! UGH!!

Ready...Set...GO!!
Well even though it has felt the last few weeks that I may actually become the first woman ever to be permanantly pregnant, Believe it or not, the time has actually come. I went into the Doctors this afternoon for the weekly check up, with contractions. I have been having them the last 2 days. It was discovered that I have a bladder infection and I am 3.5 centimeters and 75% efaced. Now since we live almost an hour from the hospital in bad traffic, they are having me come in today. I had the kids with me at the office, so that wasn't an option. We are home now and I am going to take a shower and get 'stuff' together, while Steve finishes his day at work then off to the hospital to have a baby!! I can't believe it!! Of course now I have that lovely list running through my head of all the things I wanted/needed to do before she came that I never got done!! EEEEKK!!! If they send me Home? Oh that wont be pretty. Pray for the nurses people!

Your Opinion has been requested.
Okay friends family and anyone lurking.
The same month we found out my mom was so sick, we found out we were pregnant. I wanted to name my baby after her. Her name was Joan. She hated it, when I was younger, she went by Jo, Joanie by one close friend, and Jomama. As she became a Grandma she was known by all as Grandma Jo. This was her favorite name. Steve has always loved the name Katie/Catie, so we thought to combine them to create KatieJo.
Here is my delima, as my due date is approaching quickly, we have started to have debates on the spelling of this special name, so I am enlisting your help.
Here are the choices
1. KatieJo
2.CatieJo
3.Katie-Jo
4.Katiejo
Seems silly maybe, But I am 9 months pregnant so humor me!

I feel so Loved!!
Today My friends Jenni and Lisa threw a baby shower for me and KatieJo!! Its so weird to sit there and be the center of attention and all. But this was really nice. It was come and go, so that was good for everyone, and many wonderful friends came. It meant so much to me. All the wonderful gifts and thoughtfulness really touched my heart. Because its been a 'few' years since the last baby and we really thought we were done I had nothing, not a thing! So this was just a huge blessing in a long line of blessings lately.
The first Picture is of Jenni with the buffalo chicken dip. Okay it actually taste really good but it exploded in the micro, so of course, I had to take a picture of it! the next pic is of the amazingly yummy 'girl food' we had yum yum!! KatieJo's Cake and then a picture that should be burned, notice my shrek feet? and thats early in the day, you should see them at the end of the day!
(I guess I'll do anything for presents!)
Thank you Lisa and Jenni it was great fun to just laugh, hang out and eat, and getting presents was a real bonus! Honestly thank you again to everyone it was wonderful.
