Great Big Owwie and an amazing growing baby

The 25th of this month was a busy day. Katie Jo Turned 8 months old and Jojo is now eating 'real people' food and scooting around in her walker. I finally had my Knee surgery on this day as well. I have spent a lot of time trying to avoid the surgery ever since I hurt the knee way back in Feb. But after some close calls and another fall, I had to give the Doc the okay. It was hard to 'find the time' with 4 kids and well, just life in general, but I had to do it. It truly is amazing, just 3 holes and they gave me a brand new ACL and worked on the minicus. It hurt like heck for 2 days and my kids might have learned a new word or two, but today I am trying to walk around a bit more. I am so thankful to My Heavenly Father for the Doctors and their knowledge. Its such a blessing.

Birfday Update.

I shared my Birthday Morning but I wanted to share the rest of it! Steve and I spent the day together, running errands having adult food with adult conversation and plenty of PDA!! We made it back home to take the kids to dinner at Fudruckers and a movie. it was a good day.

Its My Berfday!!

It may seem a bit indulgent, but its my day and I can blog about what I want! So far its been great! I got a movie basket from one of my BFF's Lina (Luv for U) and I got to help make my own breakfast and almost sleep in. I got a wonderful homemade 'I Am Special' Crown that I get to wear "All Day till I go to sleep, so everyone will say Happy Birthday," Some funky fun huge bright pink earrings, and a bright green bracelet, (Youre gonna be jealous Lani) and an Elmo Card, that Lizzy drew. He makes me smile, what can I say? When Daddy Wakes up, I get to go on a Date with my Hunny Bun, thanks to My SIL who's staying with us. I gotta say, Its pretty sweet being so special. :)

Wormy Laid Eggs!

What the heck is that you ask? well its wormy of course, But lets go back a bit shall we? My darling Daughter has a true desire to save share and love every kind of bug, reptile, rodent or animal she comes acrossed. Earlier this week one of the corns that we got straight from a farm, had a worm in it. a creepy slithering chewing little creature that Lizzie immediately named Little Wormy. As the cruel heartless adult called daddy, was preparing to crush the nasty little thing, the painful anguished squeals rose from Lizzy. As Huge crocodile tears rose from her pleading eyes, I saw it coming, and got out the big plastic jar, as Steve went into the speech of Life, death, and the circle of it all. Lizzie only heard Charlie Browns Teacher's voice. she was planning Wormys next birthday party and wouldnt he just love the veiw of the world from her room. As you can clearly see she fed him "the corn he was born on so he would feel at home", and some water. we continued on with the prep of dinner and I have to say I had forgotten all about our new little friend/ Then yesterday I went into her room and there it was, one very furry grey smelly corn on the cob. The "eggs" was actually mildew. (ugh) . I started to remove the dang thang and there it was, our creepy little friend is still alive! Circle of life my bum. If that blankity blank thing turns into something that flies around my house, and actually does lay eggs, I am going after that Farmer myself!

Fabulous cheap summer fun

Summer is here and in our pursuit of fabulous cheap fun we have had a busy week! Lizzie planted a seed that she found in some dark corner of my amazingly clean house, and the dang thing grew! Stevie Picked our very first Tomato out of our Garden. and today, what do you do when Mom turns the computer, wii and Tv off? make a puppet show! life

Wolf Badge, Here we come!

Stevie has been working on his Wolf Badge in Cub Scouts and so tonight he prepared and cooked (with Daddy's help) Foil dinners, and boy were they Yummy! They were a hit with everyone, yes even Jimmy. He washed the bowls while the dinners cooked, Clean up was a breeze, just toss the foil in the trash. I could get used to this. Now All I have to do is convience him, he needs to do it every week. How many recipes for foil dinners are out there?

Alright. We didn't go anywhere, but one of my bestest friends, Leslee and her family did, and we got to be one of her stops! It was so much fun to catch up and spend some time together again. It's been such a long time since we have seen each other, But it was like we had never left. So much fun, so much laughter. Last time we were together, she only had a little girl and a baby, now she has 4 beautiful wonderful children. We spent one day just playing, baking, laughing and hangingout. Then the next day we hit the Ghost Town for a little bit of Arizona fun. And the Kids all got along so well, such a huge bonus! It was such a short trip, Now I am so sad. My kids are sad. We Miss you!!
