Big News for Stevie!

Well it finally happened with a bit of tugging and blood. He finally Lost his other front tooth! He was so excited he didn't even care about the blood running down his lip. Now if only the Tooth Fairy can remember to stop by tonight, we might have a hppy little boy in the morning. Wish us luck!!

Beauty School Dropout?

The other day Lizzie decided she wanted long fake nails. So she went to the computer, created some, in animal print of course, then she cut them out and taped them on. She was very proud, for about 3 minutes which is about how long they lasted. "I can't do a thing with them!" Beauty is a tough road I told her.

Crafty Day!

Today we gathered with our cousins and made 4th of July T-Shirts!! It always sounds like a good Idea when I come up with these plans, and then the moment comes and everybody is yelling 'Me First! Me First!!" and you see the permanent paint sitting there, and you start wonderin' where your brain was that day you planned all this, but they came out great! Everybody had a great time, they were super easy and not messy at all! So easy for a big group too! Here is our results! I have to say that the kids who choose the white t-shirts, their color showed much better. Now all I have to do is Talk Big Steve into wearing his! Wish me luck!

Surprise!!

This has been quite a year for us so far. During the same month we found out Mom was so sick, we also found out we were pregnant! It was quite a surprise since we had been tryin for almost 5 years, (since Jimmy basically). We had even taken steps for adoption through foster care, but that just wasn't working out somehow. It was quite a shock to realize that we were actually pregnant, and that my Mother's cancer was so bad she was going to die soon,

all at the same time.

So many thoughts and questions have come and gone, but we feel very blessed and humbled by all that has occurred these last few months.

I was able to tell my Mom before she past, that we were pregnant and what name we wanted for the baby, if it was a girl. If you have met my little Jimmy you know why I so desperately wanted a girl ;)

Well, this past week, we found out it is a Girl!

In the middle of our pain that we have, we are experiencing great joys.

We are honoring my Mother in her name. Say Hello to KatieJo Marie!!!

Father Son Camp Out

Steve took the boys on their very first Camp out. They were so excited to sleep in the tent and go hiking. . . Until Jimmy saw the deer prints and poop every where. "I'm done now Daddy Lets go!" They never saw any deer just the poop, that was enough for my brave little mountain man. Oh well, maybe next year!

Grandma Jo

Here are some of my favorite memories and pictures of my Beloved Mother who passed away on May 23rd here at home with us. We were so blessed to have her in our lives, she over came alot in her hard life. She was a simple woman with simple desires, who gave everything to her children as a single parent. My children will miss Grandma Jo for a very long time.
