Happy Birthday Grams!!

Yesterday was My Grandma's birthday, she would have been 106. She passed away a few months after her 100 birthday. She was such a big part of my life and I am so grateful for her and all her knowledge and life lessons. We celebrated by all of us wearing blue, Every piece of clothing she had was some shade of blue. it made her happy she said. I made corn beef and cabbage, something I only ever had at her house, and despite what the kids said, nobody died! and for dessert, We made her special Carrot Cake, the moistest cake you'll ever taste I swear! We talked all about her through dinner. It was a nice night. Love you Grams

Grease is the Word!
I know I am dating myself but when Jimmy came downstairs today in his Brandnew Sneakers with the socks pulled all the way up and the tiny gym shorts, all I saw was John Travolta at PE in Grease. ( I wish I could figure out how to stick a picture from the internet on here. My little greaser. Mama is so proud. :)

Laundry Man
After my Knee surgery simple chores were a bit much for me. Everyone had to pitch in and help more. We found out that Jimmy has some real skills, Believe it or not, its Laundry. and how lucky for me. He unloads the dryer into the basket, moves that to the couch so I can fold it. then he moves the washer into the dyer and reloads the washer. all by himself. Its things like this, that makes Life with Jimmy always an adventure. Now if only I can find a way to rent him out and make a little cash!
